France
In France, the Australian delegation met with several actors from the medico-social sector to discover the French model of hospitalization at home, unique in the world because of its deployment and the importance of the acts performed. Nicolas Noiriel, national delegate of FNEHAD, presented the issues of the sector. A meeting with management of the non-profit organization UNA completed the presentation on home care. United States
In Chicago, the Australian participants had the opportunity to meet Andrew Carle, an expert on the University Based Retirement Community (UBRC) model. The visit to Admiral at the Lake completed this presentation with a field trip to understand how seniors' activities are included in the operation of the University of Chicago.

In Louisiana, the delegation exchanged with the management team of Louisiana Home Care, the leader in home care in the United States. They also visited the Woldenberg Village Continuing Care Community, which offers a full range of services, from skilled nursing home to residential services, day care and memory care.
